Support

Fluenci is an AI-powered language-learning app for web and mobile. It combines short lessons, spaced-repetition review, graded reading and writing, and an AI tutor you can type or talk to. Your progress is measured as a CEFR proficiency level, always explained in plain language.

Contact us

Email support@fluenciapp.com and we will get back to you, usually within two business days. It helps to include the email address you signed in with, your device and iOS version, and a screenshot if something looks wrong.

For privacy and data requests, write to privacy@fluenciapp.com.

Signing in and account recovery

Your Fluenci account is the same on the web and in the app. On the web, sign in with your email and password, or with Continue with Google if that is how you signed up.

Forgot your password?

  1. Open Reset password (also linked from the sign-in page as Forgot your password?).
  2. Enter the email you signed up with. If an account exists for it, a reset link is sent there.
  3. Open the link in the same browser you requested it from. Each link works once; if it has expired, request a new one.
  4. Choose a new password. Your progress stays exactly where it was.

Signed up with Apple on iPhone?

Web sign-in offers email and password or Google. If you can't get into an account you created another way, email support@fluenciapp.com from the address on your account.

Managing a subscription

A subscription is managed where it was bought:

A plan works on every device you sign in to with the same Fluenci account. Cancelling, restoring and refunds are covered in the questions below.

Web and iPhone

Fluenci works in your browser now: create an account or sign in and start learning, with no download.

The iPhone app is not on the App Store yet. Get the app shows the current options for iPhone and Android. Android is coming later to Google Play.

Reporting a problem

Email support@fluenciapp.com. These details help us find the problem quickly:

  • The email address on your Fluenci account.
  • Your browser or device, and its version.
  • The page or screen where it happened.
  • Roughly when it happened, with your time zone.
  • The steps that make it happen again, and what you expected instead.
  • A screenshot, if something looks wrong.

Never send your password or payment card details. We will not ask for them, and they are not needed to fix a problem.

Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Manage your subscription where you purchased it:

  • Web: Sign in at fluenciapp.com, then open Profile → Subscription and choose Manage subscription.
  • iPhone or iPad: Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Fluenci.
  • Android: Open Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Fluenci.

You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your Fluenci account does not cancel a subscription.

How do I restore my purchases?

If you reinstalled the app or moved to a new iPhone, sign in to Fluenci and tap Profile → Subscription → Restore Purchases (the paywall has a Restore purchases link too). Make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple ID you used to buy. Tutor minutes you bought are tied to your Fluenci account and appear once you sign in.

How do I get a refund?

For an App Store purchase, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For a Google Play purchase, use Google Play's order history or support flow. For a web purchase, email support@fluenciapp.com from the address on your Fluenci account. Tutor minute packs are consumable and are refunded only under the applicable store's policy.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and confirm. This permanently deletes your account and the learning data stored with it. Cancel any subscription where you bought it first, because deleting your account does not stop billing. If you can't sign in, follow the instructions on our account deletion page or email support@fluenciapp.com from the address on your account.

What data does the AI process?

Fluenci does not build its own language models. When you use AI features, the content you send goes to our AI providers to produce the reply: what you type goes to Anthropic, and microphone audio for voice practice and the live tutor goes to OpenAI. We ask for your permission in the app before any audio or photo is sent for the first time, and you can withdraw it any time in Profile → Settings. Your content is never used to train AI models, never used for advertising, and never sold. We do not create voiceprints. The full details, including every provider we use, are in our Privacy Policy.

I found a problem with a lesson or a tutor reply.

Please email support@fluenciapp.com with the language, the lesson or conversation, and a screenshot. AI replies can occasionally be wrong, and reports like yours help us fix them.
